Yesterday I entered my mid-twenties. With my parents being overseas, my brother held down the family fort and called me to sing me ‘happy birthday’ and reflect on being a year older. I’m not too much wiser, I probably have wrinkle developments, I’m still heading towards my dreams, I continuing to learn who I am, but I am content and aware that I am very blessed.
Despite being my first birthday to not see my parents, Dave and the girls still managed to spoil me, with a day out to Newcastle (being near the ocean is a treat when you live 500km from the beach!), a princess party in the afternoon, and the chance to just hang out with all the girls (& boys), after Sarah & John’s wedding. I’m still feeling blessed thinking about it!
