Apparently there was a sign, or someone was meant to stop me, but I got in with a big obvious camera to the Triple J One Night Stand. I had no intention of ripping off band photos as I stood pointing the lens at a myriad of people, city and country combined gathering to hear music in the middle of nowhere.*
We'd been hoping this year's location for this yearly gig would be within driving range, so you could imagine the excitement in our text messages, as Dave and I heard the news that the One Night Stand would be in Dubbo.
Catching up with friends that made an exodus for the weekend from the city to the country was definitely a highlight as we sat under the showground spotlights, and watched the variety of individuals parade around us.
The music has inspired our Autumn playlist which we'll be sure to share with you all shortly.
I am guilty of not noticing "no camera" signs at times, too! These are really great photos! Did you use a flash? I am SO jealous you were there!
ReplyDeleteThe hardest is in art galleries, I get sneaky with my phone sometimes. Nope no flash on these, just the stage lights, lighting up the place. Yes we were very lucky to have the One Night Stand within driving distance :)
