Last time I came to New York was four years ago and I really liked the layout, accessibility and activity of the place. I was straight off the back of four and a half years at University Studying Town Planning and a trip to one of the biggest cities in the world was probably the best way to see the mechanics of what I'd learnt.
Although we're only one week into our trip, I reckon we've managed to cover a lot of ground, see a range of different neighbourhoods and stumble across some great places to eat.
My three favourite things about this trip to New York have been the weather, the awesome coffee (usually Stumptown Coffee) at hole-in-the-wall cafes, and exploring Manhattan almost exclusively on foot.
I'm looking forward to traveling to Boston after Christmas and checking out a new city, before continuing to explore New York City from Brooklyn and getting to know the Subway lines.
