TWENTY MINUTES SOUTH

The longer I live in a town or city the details and places that were originally new fresh to explore start to fall into the backdrop and become part of the everyday.

Today we took a little drive to the neighbouring town, and ate burgers with homemade relish, while we took our coffee hot, as a southerly swept through.
After lunch the town was empty, only the pubs drawing the odd few people from their homes. The quietness of the lonely streets opened my eyes back up to the details and new streets to explore, right outside our house.
